Eligibility

• The University will transfer the funds as a lump sum to the unit, covering costs such as equipment and tools related to the development of a Joint Unit.
• Projects must integrate interdisciplinary approaches by combining concepts, knowledge, and technology transfer processes, innovations, or joint research and academic governance.
• The proposed project must integrate two or more affiliates of Mahidol University.
• Collaborating institutions may include educational institutions, research institutes, or learning promotion institutes from either the public or private sector.
• If the partnering institution is listed in the QS Quacquarelli Symonds or Times Higher Education World University Rankings during the scholarship application process, the following conditions apply:
  • Case 1 – Ranked between 1 and 100: MU affiliates can apply for the scholarship, even if they have not collaborated before.
  • Case 2 – Ranked between 101 and 400: MU affiliates must have a memorandum of understanding or a history of collaboration to be eligible for the scholarship.
