On October 16, 2024, Mahidol University Student, Academic and International Services (MUSAIS), the Global Partnerships Division in collaboration with 50 Indonesian students from the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA), hosted Asmaraloka: The Love for Creating at the Mahidol Learning Center.
The event, running from 12:00 to 16:00, showcased the vibrant culture and creativity of Indonesia through a series of exciting activities.
The event saw a turnout of approximately 200 participants from the MU community, who enjoyed a variety of cultural experiences. Attendees were treated to authentic Indonesian cuisine, thanks to the support of Institute of Nutrition Mahidol University, and participated in traditional games that highlighted Indonesia’s rich heritage.
One of the highlights of the day was the stunning Batik Fashion Show, which showcased intricate designs and the cultural significance of batik-making. Guests were also given the chance to try their hand at creating their own batik, engaging in a hands-on experience that deepened their understanding of this beautiful art form.
The event was made possible with the support of the Division of Student Affairs กองกิจการนักศึกษา มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล and Mahidol Learning Center, who ensured the smooth arrangement of the venue and activities.
The day was a perfect blend of creativity, culture, and community, leaving participants with a greater appreciation for Indonesian traditions and fostering stronger ties between students of different nationalities.
