This weekend, we organized a cultural trip for Mahidol Universityâs international staff and students to Kanchanaburi!
Participants visited Mahidol University Kanchanaburi Campus (MUKA), which is one of our six campuses. They toured the campus by tram and also explored the Herbarium Museum and Geo-science Museum within MUKAâs premises.
We would like to express our gratitude to the MUKA team for hosting us, especially Asst. Prof. Thatchavee Leelawat, Vice President for Information Technology and Kanchanaburi Campus, for giving welcome remarks.
In addition to exploring the KA campus, participants visited famous attractions such as Krasae Cave and the Death Railway along the River Kwai. At Mallika City, they experienced Thai culture and lifestyles from the 1900s.
The second day of this cultural trip also featured a special visit to an elephant sanctuary, where participants had the opportunity to feed and bathe the elephants.
We hope everyone enjoyed this 2-day trip and we look forward to seeing everyone again soon!
