Mahidol University Welcomes H.E. Mr. Tshewang C. Dorji, Ambassador of Bhutan to the Kingdom of Thailand

On 27^th October 2020, Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, President of Mahidol University and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Vice President for International Relations and Corporate Communication welcomed H.E Mr. Tshewang C. Dorji, Ambassador of Bhutan to the Kingdom of Thailand and delegates from the Royal Bhutanese Embassy to Mahidol University’s Salaya Campus. The Royal Bhutanese Embassy officials visited Mahidol University in order to express their sincere gratitudes to Mahidol University for providing support to Bhutanese students and delegates further discussed possible areas of cooperation in the future, especially scholarship provisions. On this occasion, the meeting focused on many aspects of cooperation to boost the number of undergraduate and postgraduate students at Mahidol University. The discussion was also geared towards the establishment of Mahidol’s Bhutanese Alumni Unit in Bhutan.
