On 27th October 2020, at Meeting Room 515, Office of the President, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus, Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, M.D., President of Mahidol University, together with Prof. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Vice President for International Relations and Corporate Communication, hosted an online meeting with Prof. Alan Kin Tak LAU, Pro Vice-Chancellor (International Research Development) and Ms. Celia Wong, Manager of International Research Engagement, Swinburne University of Technology, Australia.
The purpose of the discussion was to explore possible connections in the field of Industry 4.0 to link with Thailand 4.0. The areas of collaboration discussed were Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Cobotics, and Data Science. Both universities plan to develop academic collaboration in short-courses delivery, joint degrees, and joint research centers.
