From the 6th – 7th of August 2018, Mahidol University hosted the UPM – MU Short Mobility Program at Salaya Campus. The purpose of the program was to learn about how research, technology and innovation can be applied in the food industry.
14 undergraduate students and one faculty member from the Faculty of Food Science and Technology, University Putra Malaysia, took part in the program. Alongside classes to learn about the future of food science, food business, and food industries, the students shared and discussed ideas with lecturers from the Institute of Nutrition and the Institute for Technology and Innovation Management. The students also studied some basic Thai Language and gained a better understanding of the Thai language and culture.
