Objectives:
- Encourage effective collaboration between academic teams from both institutions to drive outstanding research.
- Expard research efforts in areas of shared interest, emphasizing scale and focus.
- Foster engagement at all academic levels by ensuring diverse research team compositions.
- Provide international research training opportunities.
- Estabish a strong foundation for continued research collaboration, securing external funding.
- Support the development of long-term strategic research alliances between the two universities.
- Actively promote and facilitate academic exchonges for research visits between the two institutions.
Funding information:
- Number of Projects: Funding is avallable for three projects per year.
- Matched areas: Open to all disciplines.
- Funding Amount: Each project will receive total GBP E20,000 (For Mahidol side approximately 400,000 Baht).
- Eligibility: Academics employed at the University of York and Mahidol University are eligible to apply.
- Project Structure: Each proposal must include a Co-Principal Investigator from both the University of York and Mahidol University.
- Application Limit: A faculty member may serve as a Co-Principal Investigator on only one appication per cycle. There is no limit to the number of applications a faculty member may join as a team member.
