MUIAO organized the “Thai Language Experiential Learning Trip”

On 22nd March 2023, Mahidol University International Affairs Office (MUIAO) organized the “Thai Language Experiential Learning Trip” to Kudichin Community Area and Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchawaramahawihan for foreign students and staff who took the Basic Thai Conversation Course.

Kudichin Community, located on the Chao Praya River’s west bank, is a historic, multicultural neighborhood that houses the Santa Cruz Church, the ancient Chinese Shrine, a Thai-style mosque, and Portuguese-influenced restaurants. Around 2.5 km. away from the community is Wat Arun or the Temple of Dawn, a Buddhist temple and one of the world’s most stunning religious structures.

This half-day trip aimed to provide the participants with the opportunity to communicate in Thai and experience Thai culture.
