On 13 November 2018, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Acting Vice President for International Relations and Corporate Communication, and Asst. Prof. Flg.Off. Chatchai Kunavisarut, Acting Vice President for Student Affairs and Alumni, gave the opening address and the welcome speech respectively at the event “Mahidol University Backpack Forum 2018” at Mahidol Learning Center (MLC).

The event started by the brief summary of the Backpack Scholarship 2018 and recipients’ evaluation by Dr. Rapee Boonplueang, as the Backpack Scholarship Project Consultant. The MU Backpack Forum 2018, cooperated by the International Relations Division and the Student Affairs Division, was created to let all the scholarship recipients come and share their traveling experiences, including problems during the trip and what they learned after, with each others and also to other Mahidol University students who are interested in joining our next year scholarship (MU Backpack 2019). The event was separated into 2 sections. The first was the Sharing Experience Stage at the Mahidol University Archives and Museums. From 37 groups (4 students per group) of scholarship recipients, 3 of them were selected to give presentations about their trip. The other section was the Trip Exhibition at the Kanpai Square in front of One Stop Service, which all 37 groups of recipients set up and decorated their own boards showing experiences they gained after their journey by Backpack Scholarships.
