On 26th – 27th August 2019, Prof. Stephen Deane , Associate Dean, Clinical Partnerships, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, and Dr. Welly Firmanto, Chief Operating Officer, MQ Health, and General Manager of Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Macquarie University, Australia, visited Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital to give a special talk on “Medical Education in Surgery” and meet with faculty executives, Prof. Suwannee Suraseranivongse, Deputy Dean and Medical School Director, Assoc. Prof. Thawornchai Limjindaporn, Deputy Dean for Postgraduate Program, Prof. Thawatchai Akaraviputh, Deputy Dean for International Relations, and Assoc. Prof. Chanean Ruangsetakit , Chairman of Department of Surgery, to discuss opportunities for exchange of medical students and have a clinical tour of Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Center of Applied Thai Traditional Medicine, and Siriraj Piyamaharajkarun Hospital.
The delegation also visited Faculty of Public Health to meet with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mathuros Tipayamongkholgul, Deputy Dean for International Relations and Networking, and came to Salaya campus to meet with Mahidol University International College’s executives, Assoc. Prof. Chulathida Chomchai, M.D., Dean, Dr. Alexander Nanni, Associate Dean for International Affairs, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Patsarin Rodpothong Wongkamhang, Assistant Dean for Educational Affairs, to discuss opportunities for collaboration in the future.
