The Mahidol University Seed Grant Program is a strategic initiative of the Global Partnerships Division designed to strengthen international collaborations, foster interdisciplinary research, and support innovative solutions to global challenges. The program serves as a platform to connect Mahidol faculty with leading researchers and institutions worldwide, enabling joint projects that combine academic excellence with real-world impact.
Through the Seed Grant Program, partnerships extend beyond conventional academic exchanges, where researchers can evolve into dynamic collaborations that nurture innovation, empower knowledge sharing, and generate outcomes with meaningful societal, environmental, and economic value. Eligible MU Seed Grant activities would include, but are not limited to:

Facilitating internationally co-authored publications.

Visits to engage with research groups to establish new contacts and explore possibilities for future collaboration.

Preparation of collaborative bids to attract research funding.

Development of new interdisciplinary research programmes.

Capacity building for research.

Other activities that facilitate collaboration among faculty at both universities.
