On 25th July 2019, Clin. Prof. Suwat Benjaponpitak, M.D., Acting Vice President for Academic Affairs, Mahidol University, together with representatives from Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, and Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, welcomed 12 delegates from Faculty of Science and Engineering, Macquarie University, Australia, led by Prof. Barbara Messerle, Executive Dean, at Room OSM 1, 2nd Floor, Office of the President, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
The delegation was visiting for the Mahidol University – Macquarie University Science, Technology and Engineering Joint Symposium from 25th – 26th July 2019, which took place at Mahidol University’s Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, and Faculty of Science. The joint symposium, along with roundtable discussion, aimed to exchange knowledge and research outcomes in specific areas between two universities, along with site visits to the faculties and discussion of opportunities for collaboration in the near future, including student and staff exchange along with research collaboration.
