MU ASEAN+3 Mobility Program 2019

On Monday 10th June 2019, the International Relations Division, Mahidol University held the Orientation Session for the student participants of the MU ASEAN+3 Mobility Program 2019 at the Meeting Room 217, 2nd Fl.,Mahidol Learning Center.

MU ASEAN+3 Mobility Program 2019 allows MU undergraduate students to learn basic language and cultures by studying at the leading universities in ASEAN+3 countries which are Osaka University, Japan, Pusan National University, South Korea and Yunnan University, China. Moreover, they will get 2 elective credits by registering for the course “Comparative Cultures” (SHHU116) of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, after coming back from their trip.

The Orientation started by the “Introduction of the Course SHHU116: Comparative Cultures” by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wariya Chinwanno, Director of Mahidol University International Demonstration School and followed by “Cross-Cultural Awareness” by Asst. Prof. Dr. Mark Stephen Felix from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities.

In the afternoon, the students were divided into 3 groups according to their participating countries (Japan, South Korea, and China). IR Division invited expert instructors regarding cultures and languages to give lectures and share their experiences including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Acting Vice President for International Relations and Corporate Communication. She lectured on the topic of “Introduction to Japan (History, Economics, Politics, Religion, etc.).
