Biography

Dr.Panrasee Ritthipravat is an associate professor at Department of Biomedical Engineering, Mahidol University. She received her doctoral degree in Mechanical engineering program from King Mogkut’s University of Technology Thonburi. Currently she is a director of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine Lab (AIM Lab). Her research focused on AI, image processing and robotics. Her projects include educational robot for children with special needs, rehabilitation device for stroke patients, and computer aided cancer diagnosis. These projects won several international and national invention awards. She also won and joined several pitching competitions to promote and drive her research products to the market.

Abstract

AI technology is growing continuously and has been applied in various areas. In this talk, research projects conducted at Artificial Intelligence in Medicine Lab, Mahidol University are presented including educational robot for children with special needs, rehabilitation system for post-stroke patients, and behavior analysis from VDO images.
