Field Trip: Chiang Mai

Situated in mountainous northern Thailand, the city was founded in 1296 and was the capital of the independent Lanna Kingdom until 1558. As a cultural and religious center, Chiang Mai is not only a backpacker destination, but also a landmark of ancient civilization. Apart from being a place of historical study and rich natural resources, this vibrant city is worth spending time in to witness and understand its economic growth, especially through SMEs and start-up projects.

Field Trip: Khao Yai National Park

Where the clear bright blue sky meets the lush green mountains, Khao Yai National Park covers more than 2,000 square kilometers of evergreen forests, mountains and grasslands in central Thailand. Khao Yai is one of the largest monsoon forests remaining in Asia. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to more than 2,000 species of plants, more than 300 bird species, 70 species of mammals and 74 species of reptiles and amphibians. It is undisputed to say that Khao Yai is the biggest and the most breathtaking classroom for nature-loving students from all over the world.
