The research program under Inclusive Society Research Excellence Centre (ISREC) are under Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Mahidol University and Health Systems Research Institute (HSRI). It aimed to driving long-term work in the use of research and creating an inclusive society, especially caring for vulnerable and marginalized people. The concept of this research program is a blend three things; first is to create knowledge, second is to develop those who are going to generate knowledge and drive then to take knowledge-based to driven policy and social activism. The research program consisted of 5 projects as followed:

•   Social Movements Towards Healthy Life of Vulnerable Families in Thai Society; it is a project focusing on developing knowledge from complex problems of Thai families situations in order to create a better understanding and develop the research problems in family aspect and creating a network of family problem solvers.
•   Artificial Intelligence(AI) and Health and Social Equity; it is a project that studies advances in digital and AI technologies that may affect to humans in an ethical, fairness and social dimension.
•   Life, Health and Health Service Accessibility of Urban Vulnerable Population: A Study of Aging Immigrant Workers in Bangkok; it is a project that studies the vulnerable groups such as taxi drivers. The studying the life of this group make us found the structural problems that they have to be subjected to health risks which causing the development of a health service system to support this group.
•   Life and Health of Migrant Children and Health Care Accessibility; it is a project focusing on creating a better understanding about complexity of the problem of migrant children and mechanisms of public health services that do not respond to life and mobility then make children have at risk of health and safety in their lives.
•   Capacity Building Programs for Street Teachers; it is a project focusing on developing the potential of workers for vulnerable children by expecting to the development of knowledge, tools, techniques and work for street teachers having an effective mechanism for helping children who have hard-to-access.

This project will lead to a social movement through a policy mechanism, organizational structures and specific operating areas which based on the developed knowledge and the linkage of networks and operating engagement areas, working with networks at all levels (from putting policy into practice with community). It is a practice area for developing knowledge, potential of researchers and workers and driving the change then led to make working in all dimensions to be integrated, coherent and effective more.

Applied Research Project to Usage: Recommendations for policy to relevant departments. Create a network of partners who work to solve the problem of health justice and the problem of vulnerable children.
