Partnered PhD Agreement Signing Ceremony with Swinburne University of Technology

 

On 26 August 2021, Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, President of Mahidol University together with Prof. Pascale Quester, Vice Chancellor and President of Swinburne University of Technology signed a Partnered PhD Agreement on the official signing ceremony. Also joined in the session were Assoc. Prof. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Vice President for International Relations and Corporate Communication, Prof. Chartchalerm Isarankura Na Ayudhya, Dean of the Faculty of Medical Technology, Assoc. Prof. Norased Nasongkla Department Chair of Biomedical Engineering, Asst. Prof. Boonsit Yimwadsana and Dr. Akara Supratak from the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology.

The Partnered PhD Program starting with two key areas; Science for Biomedical Research and Applications, and Brain-computer and AI Interfaces, allows the two universities to admit and jointly supervise at least 5 PhD. students per year.
